Figure/Graphic 3: Hypercholesterinämie - LDL
Time course of serum LDL-cholesterol levels in homozygous (n = 4) and heterozygous (n = 10) patients with familial hypercholesterolaemia undergoing LDL-apheresis treatment at weekly intervals. The recovery of LDL-cholesterol is given both the total value (mg/dl) and the percent decrease for the last 24 hours. These values were determined either without additional statin therapy for four weeks (wash-out period) or when patients were on 80 mg of atorvastatin for a four weeks.
