A multidisciplinary oncology guideline is defined as a guideline developed by representatives of (cancer) organizations and deals with cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and care as well as quality and safety of the involved stakeholders. ECCO organized a forum with its members and other oncology organizations to define quality criteria for the development groups, partners, formats, and quality measures to be recognized by ECCO as high-quality multidisciplinary guidelines.
