In a pooled analysis of randomized clinical trials, mean reductions in SBP/DBP were 26.1/12.6 mmHg in diabetic patients treated with telmisartan 80 mg/HCTZ 12.5 mg for a mean of 148 days.1 This compares with mean reductions of 15.9/9.4 mmHg with telmisartan 80 mg monotherapy for a mean of 115.7 days. 1.
