neurotoxicity as in platinum compounds. Axons, rarely the myelin, can be damaged.

Unmyelinated fibers and terminal nerve arbors are the sites of acute taxane
toxicity. An additional spinal mechanism at the alpha-2-delta-Typ1 subunit in neuropathic
